North Korean Scholars Visit Syracuse U.; Indian Official Bemoans 'McDonaldization' of Academe
Tensions between North Korea and the United States may be high, but six North Koreans are visiting an American campus this month, in a rare academic exchange between the two countries.
Five North Korean computer scientists, accompanied by a government representative, are at Syracuse University conducting information-technology research as part of a collaboration between Syracuse and Kim Chaek University of Technology, in P'yongyang.
