North Carolina Group Pushes for Vote on Higher-Education Bond Issue

Having killed a $650-million bond proposal that would have financed school construction, a North Carolina taxpayers' group is now taking aim at a much bigger target: $3-billion in bonds for the University of North Carolina system and community colleges.
