Non-Catholic Professors at Jesuit Institutions
To the Editor:
As a Jewish professor who teaches part time at Georgetown University, I was deeply disturbed by the May 4 article "Vatican Bars Scholar From Teaching at a Jesuit Theology School." In this instance, a clearly dynamic teacher was fired and silenced because, in his writings, he dares to suggest that non-Christians go to heaven.
