No-Confidence Vote Taken at Clark
Faculty members at Clark College have overwhelmingly voted no confidence in the president of the two-year institution in Vancouver, Wash., accusing him of violating a commitment to shared governance. The no-confidence vote was held about a month before the college's Board of Trustees is slated to hear an independent consultant's report on how the president, R. Wayne Branch, has performed in his first three years on the job.
Of the 239 faculty members who cast ballots, about 96 percent
