Newspaper Stops Using Team Nicknames Deemed Offensive to American Indians

You won't find any Redskins or Fighting Illini in Lincoln, Neb.

At least not in the pages of the Lincoln Journal Star, which last week announced that it would ban the use of the word "Redskins" to refer to the professional football team in Washington.
