New York U. Reports Another Lapse in Web Security
Following New York University's embarrassment last month, when it was widely reported that some students' Social Security numbers were inadvertently posted on its Web site, officials have revealed that the personal information of many more students, as well as of faculty and staff members, was also compromised.
The latest incident involved a Web site run by the university's Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life, which administrators shut down at the end of January after a student
