New York Regents Adopt Tougher Restrictions on For-Profit Colleges
The New York State Board of Regents endorsed a package of proposals last week that calls for tougher restrictions on for-profit colleges in the state.
The board also agreed to keep in place a moratorium on new for-profit colleges, which it had imposed in January, until the new proposals are formally adopted as state regulations.
