New University Seeks to Help Saudi Arabia Broaden Its Economy
Alan G. Goodridge might not seem the obvious choice to help build a university from scratch in one of the world's most conservative societies.
This month he became provost and acting president of Alfaisal University, the first private, nonprofit, coeducational university in Saudi Arabia.
