New President of Florida Gulf Coast U. Ousts Provost; U. of Nebraska Med Center Hires Couple; St. Louis Community College Makes Interim Chancellor Permanent
PROVOST HUNT: Bonnie L. Yegidis has resigned as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Florida Gulf Coast University to make way for it to hire someone who would focus on more than academic matters.
Wilson G. Bradshaw, the recently hired president, asked Ms. Yegidis to step down. He says he has already begun developing a "stronger provost position" than it was during Ms. Yegidis's three-year tenure.
