New Plan for Higher Education Act Dismays Many College Lobbyists

They say worst parts of House and Senate versions made it into the compromise bill

College lobbyists' enthusiastic support for the work done by the Republican-led Congress to draft legislation extending the Higher Education Act seemed on the verge of crumbling last week.
