New Online Exam Arouses Worries
A revised version of the Graduate Record Examinations General Test will be offered worldwide beginning in September. The new Internet-based version of the GRE, as the exam is known, will replace the current computer-based test.
The Educational Testing Service, the nonprofit organization that owns and administers the GRE, says the new system will improve security and reduce the risk of cheating, as well as better measure skills related to graduate-level study.
