New Journal on Evolutionary Science Seeks to Broaden the Audience
HEREDITY IN EDITING: Charles Darwin used the famous phrase "descent with modification" to describe evolution, but he could have applied it to the job of editing manuscripts. Both processes take an original and tweak it, creating a new generation that is different from its predecessor (although authors and parents may debate whether the progeny show any improvements).
Now Darwin's intellectual offspring is attempting to mate the pursuits of evolutionary science and editing. Niles
