New Journal Admits to Elitism, and Won't Offer Subscriptions; Scholar Fulfills Quest With Annotated Edition of Carson McCullers's Autobiography
A press release for the new journal Context announces that it will "cultivate a conversation about literature based on its worth" among some of the most cutting-edge writers of the century.
Problem is, you just can't buy that kind of talent.
No, really, you can't. If all goes according to plan, Context will never hit a newsstand or cross a sales counter. Don't even think about trying to subscribe.
