New Hires at Community College in Michigan Will Have to Quit Smoking, at Home and at Work
Job applicants at Kalamazoo Valley Community College who use tobacco must kick the habit or watch their applications go up in smoke.
A hiring policy put in place last month bars new employees at the Michigan college from using tobacco products, even off the campus. "[If] it is determined that you are using tobacco products, your employment with Kalamazoo Valley Community College may be terminated," reads the college's application for employment.
