New Genus Proposed in Ape Lineage Based on Kenyan Discovery
A team of scientists working in Kenya has uncovered the exquisitely preserved, 15-million-year-old remains of an ape, a discovery that is certain to reshape the complex evolutionary tree at the point at which the ancestors to humans and great apes arose.
