New Fantasy Sports League Tests NCAA's Amateurism Rules
The long-simmering debate over the commercialization of college sports reached a boiling point this week when CBS Sports, the NCAA's key corporate partner, announced it was creating a fantasy football league using college athletes' names and statistics.
A CBS Sports columnist described the game as a breakthrough on par with "fire, electricity, telephones, planes, and cars." But not everyone agrees that the new game is a sign of progress. In fact, some say it violates NCAA rules
