New Dean at U. of Belgrade Softens Hard Line
A moderate named dean of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade last month already has reversed some of his controversial predecessor's most disputed decisions.
Rade Bozovic, a professor of Arabic, replaced Radmilo Marojevic as dean of the school, which had been riven by a wave of faculty firings, the elimination of some departments, and other changes. Mr. Marojevic resigned after 50 students
