New Data on Technology Spending Offer Benchmarks for College Administrators
In the past 10 years, the typical college has doubled its spending on information-technology services, according to new data from a continuing survey of college costs developed by David L. Smallen of Hamilton College and Karen L. Leach of Colgate University.
The survey provides benchmarks for helping administrators collect, analyze, and explain to trustees and others the cost of information-technology services at their institutions.
