New Books on Criminal Justice Deal With Workplace Drug Tests and Latino Street Gangs
GETTING THINGS CLEAR: Several years ago Kenneth D. Tunnell, a professor of criminal justice at Eastern Kentucky University, was talking with a friend of his -- a former student who had become a factory worker: "He'd been laid off, and he was looking for work, primarily in the blue-collar sector. He told me he had a job prospect, and he was prepping for his interview, trying to get clean for his pending drug test."
