New Accusations in Peru Over Slain Academics
Peru's attorney general has accused former President Alberto Fujimori of authorizing a 1992 massacre of nine students and a professor that has become a symbol of the human-rights atrocities committed during the South American nation's brutal civil conflict.
Attorney General Nelly Calderon charged Mr. Fujimori with homicide and "forced disappearance" in connection with the massacre, in which the students and a professor were kidnapped from a dormitory at National Enrique Guzman y Valle
