Never, Ever Out of Touch
Dartmouth is one of several colleges that find benefits in switching to Internet-based telephonesNo matter where Lawrence M. Levine travels, people can reach him by dialing his Dartmouth College telephone number. Whether he's at his office, his home, or in a hotel room somewhere: As long as he has access to the Internet, it's as if he's sitting in his campus office.
"You could take incoming calls in China if you're on the Internet," says Mr. Levine, director of computer services
