Nevada Chancellor Gone Yesterday, Here Today
James E. Rogers, chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education, resigned last week and then retracted his resignation less than two days later.
Mr. Rogers, who has served as chancellor since May 2004, submitted a two-word resignation letter simply saying "I quit" to the system's 13 regents on the morning of Sunday, January 14.
