"Need Blind" Admissions Policies
Washington, D.C. -- The vast majority of colleges admit students without considering their financial need, according to a survey by the National Association of College Admission Counselors.
The association said the findings contradicted news reports that many colleges were abandoning "need blind" admissions.
Eighty-five per cent of the 584 colleges that responded to the survey said they did not consider a student's financial need at any point in the admissions
