National Research Council
The National Research Council has awarded 116 fellowships to increase the number of faculty members from underrepresented minority groups.
Under the program, which is financed by the Ford Foundation and administered by the council, awards were given to 54 beginning graduate students, 33 others working on their dissertations, and 29 recent Ph.D. recipients.
Following are the names of the recipients, their fellowships institutions, and their fields of study.
