National Internet2 Day Is Cause for Celebration

Geeks at 35 universities last week celebrated the first-ever National Internet2 Day.

On March 18, each of the universities held demonstrations of cutting-edge uses for the next-generation backbone computer network that Internet2's members have sunk hundreds of thousands of dollars into building over the past eight years.
