NYU Medical Center Lands $100-Million Gift
New York University Medical Center will receive $100-million from the chairman of its Board of Trustees, a businessman who gave the center $100-million anonymously in 1999.
The center will be renamed the NYU Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center, in honor of the chairman and his wife, the university announced. The combined amount is the largest gift the medical center has ever received.
