N.Y. Board of Regents Approves CUNY Plan to Limit Remedial Education

The City University of New York's controversial plan to limit remediation cleared its final hurdle last week, as the state Board of Regents voted narrowly to endorse the policy, but to allow two colleges to wait an extra year before carrying it out.
