NSF Plans to Increase Cybersecurity Research
Responding to Congressional criticism, the director of the National Science Foundation told the U.S. House of Representatives Science Committee this month that the agency would step up its cybersecurity research.
The testimony came after committee members told representatives of four federal agencies that they were not spending enough money on studying ways to secure the nation's computer infrastructure from electronic attacks by hackers and terrorists.
