NSF Names Former U. of Vermont President to Lead Education Division
The National Science Foundation has tapped Judith A. Ramaley, a longtime university official with a strong interest in elementary and secondary schools, to head its education division.
The foundation's education-and-human-resources division, which has an $800-million budget, supports research in science education and teaching methods at all levels, with a focus on troubled school systems and minority youth.
