NSF Asked to Improve Oversight of Projects
The National Science Foundation must exercise more oversight of its large research projects, particularly as it seeks more money, members of a House of Representatives panel said last week.
Officials of the agency said they have developed plans to improve their management of research facilities and large equipment used by scientists, including telescopes and supercomputers.
