NLRB Rules Against Faculty Union at Sage Colleges
A regional official of the National Labor Relations Board has ruled that professors at the Sage Colleges, in Troy, N.Y., are managers and, therefore, cannot bargain collectively. The faculty members, who are affiliated with the National Education Association, plan to appeal and say they will continue organizing a union.
