NIH Proposes Caps on Training Grants
The National Institutes of Health has proposed capping its reimbursements to colleges for tuition and other costs for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers supported by its training grants. The agency has said the controversial change is intended to avert large cuts in the number of trainees to control growing costs.
