NIH Gives Less to Women, Study Finds
The National Institutes of Health give significantly more grants to men than to women, according to a new report released by the RAND Corporation this month.
The report says that female applicants for NIH grants in 2001-3 received on average only 63 percent of the money that male applicants received.
