NIH Director Seeks to Ban Cash Awards to Agency's Top Officials
Responding to critics in Congress, the director of the National Institutes of Health said last week that he wants to ban cash awards from outside organizations, including universities, to employees of his agency who influence grants and contracts affecting those groups.
