NIH Awards Bioterrorism Grants
The National Institutes of Health announced this month that it would award large, multiyear grants to seven universities for research to protect against terrorist attacks involving biological weapons and to study infectious diseases.
The awards, totaling $350-million, will go to Duke University, Harvard Medical School, the University of Chicago, the University of Maryland at Baltimore, the University of Texas Medical Branch, the University of Washington at Seattle, and Washington
