NEH Official to Step Down
Lynne Munson, a former special assistant to Lynne V. Cheney at the National Endowment for the Humanities, who rose through the ranks to become deputy chairwoman of the agency in 2001, will leave her job this fall.
Ms. Munson, who will serve as special assistant to the chairman until her departure, has been replaced by Thomas Mallon, a former member of the National Council on the Humanities who became director of the endowment's Division of Preservation and Access last year.
