NCAA Places Indiana U. on 3-Year Probation for Recruiting Violations
The NCAA has placed the Indiana University at Bloomington on probation for three years after finding that two men's basketball coaches there made more than 100 impermissible telephone calls to recruits.
In a report released on Tuesday, the NCAA's Division I Committee on Infractions said that Indiana exhibited a “failure to monitor” its men's basketball team, one of the country's storied and longtime cleanest
