NCAA Places 2 Universities on Probation for Recruiting Violations
By ALEX P. KELLOGG and WELCH SUGGSThe National Collegiate Athletic Association placed New Mexico State University and Humboldt State University on probation and imposed other penalties last month because they had offered improper inducements to recruits from junior colleges.
