NCAA Penalizes University of Washington for Football Coach's Gambling
The National Collegiate Athletic Association last month put the University of Washington on two additional years of probation for gambling and recruiting violations in the football program and for the university's failure to monitor itself. But the NCAA did not penalize the former coach who was the most prominent figure in the violations.
