NCAA Penalizes 2 Universities
The NCAA has placed the University of Oklahoma on probation for two years after finding that a booster paid three football players more than $17,000 for work they did not perform. As part of its penalty, Oklahoma faces football-scholarship limitations and must wipe out eight victories from the 2005 season.
