NCAA Overturns Coaches' Penalties
The NCAA has reversed several decisions on rules violations against two former Ohio State University men's basketball coaches.
About a year ago, the NCAA's Division I Committee on Infractions placed Ohio State on probation for three years after finding that James J. O'Brien, the former head coach for men's basketball, and Paul Biancardi, then a Buckeyes assistant coach, had made an improper $6,000 payment to a recruit's mother.
