NCAA May Reinstate 'Sunday Rule' for Championship Games

The National Collegiate Athletic Association has come full circle on "the Sunday rule."

Last month, the association's Championships/Competition Cabinet decided that the national championships in women's soccer and women's basketball must accommodate participating teams if their institutions have written policies forbidding them to compete on Sundays, or on other days, for religious reasons.
