NCAA Bans Text Messaging, Frustrating Some Coaches and Relieving Others
The NCAA's Division I Board of Directors voted last week to eliminate the use of text messaging in recruiting — for now, anyway.
In an unusual move, the board said it would consider proposals to bring text messaging back — albeit with certain restrictions.
