N.C. State U. to Reinstate Tenured Professor Who Was Fired
North Carolina State University has agreed to reinstate a tenured professor of accounting who was accused of neglect of duty and fired a year ago.
The professor, Katherine Beal Frazier, had sued the university for sex discrimination and retaliation.
Along with reinstatement, the settlement provides her with a total of $100,000 in back pay, benefits, and a cash payment. The agreement also places her on leave without pay, retroactively from the end of
