Myron Rolle Sets an Example for Other College Players

I applaud Myron Rolle's choice to pursue his Rhodes scholarship instead of seeking immediate NFL draft placement ("Football Star Chooses Rhodes Scholarship Over NFL — for Now," The Chronicle online, January 13). My own institution, Ohio State University, recently announced that several of its junior-year players intended to place themselves in the draft even though they are just one year away from graduating with bachelor's degrees.
