My Life as an Adjunct After a Full Career
From full professor to adjunct? It makes no sense as a career move. It does make sense as a post-retirement option. Indeed, as more from an aging professoriate retire each year, many desire to remain in the profession more actively than by occupying honorary office space in the old university's library.
