My Classroom Epiphany
An English Ph.D. who once hoped to spend her career at a research university finds a pedagogical home at a community college
After teaching at a community college for a few years, I made a discovery that changed the way I taught and the way I viewed my teaching. It was one of those eureka moments when everything falls into place and makes sense. And it came to me at its own leisurely pace, after some 15 years of teaching at various colleges and universities across the country.
