What musical instrument stands nearly 28 feet tall and is played on 28,000 feet of brass wire? Try the Illinois Institute of Technology's Crown Hall.
Students and faculty members there attached wires, some as long as 200 feet, to glass, steel, and wooden surfaces throughout the interior of the one-story building.
