Murray State's New Leader May Be a Chip Off the Old Block; U. of Louisiana at Monroe President Quits
FAMILY LINE: For faculty members who fear that the presidency at Murray State University is starting to resemble a monarchy, a son of their president may turn out to have been aptly named: F. King Alexander, 37, the son of Kern Alexander, 62, the Kentucky university's retired and now interim president, is one of three finalists for his father's job and visited the campus last week for interviews.
The elder Mr. Alexander announced his retirement last February and stepped down at the end
