Murray State U. Senior Charged in Fire That Killed Student
A student who was rescued by firefighters from a burning dormitory at Murray State University in September was arrested this month on charges that he had started the fire, which killed one student and injured five others.
Jerry W. Walker, a senior at the university and a part-time minister for an outside youth group, was being held in the Calloway County jail without bond and has been charged with capital murder, first-degree arson,
